World Scholars Exchange Inc. (WSE) is committed to making our website and programs accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA and to continually improve usability.

What we’re doing

• Standards-led design: Pages reviewed against WCAG success criteria.

• Keyboard & screen reader support: Logical heading order, focus states, skip links, and labeled forms.

• Text alternatives: Alt text for images; descriptive link text; transcripts/captions for media.

• Color & contrast: Sufficient contrast and text that scales without loss of content.

• Error prevention: Clear form instructions and error messaging.

Scope & third-party content

Some features (e.g., maps, donation widgets, social embeds) are provided by third parties. We select vendors that prioritize accessibility, but issues may occur. If you run into a barrier, let us know so we can offer an alternative.

Known or potential limitations (in progress)

• Legacy PDFs may not be fully tagged.

• Some third-party widgets may have keyboard or contrast issues.

Program accommodations
